The Board comprises representatives of the public and private sectors.
Mr. Lance Jena
Mr. Jena is the Chairman of the ZimTrade Board to which he was appointed in October 2014. Currently, he is the President and Fellow of the Southern Africa Institute of Marketing (SAIM). Mr. Jena holds a Master in Business Administration (MBA) degree from the University of Zimbabwe and a Bachelor of Science (Honours) degree in Microbiology from the University of London. He is a registered member of the Institute of Medical Laboratory Sciences of England and Wales (IMLS).
Mr. Admire Masenda
Mr. Masenda is a Director of the Association of the Cotton Value Adders of Zimbabwe (ACVAZ). He is the current President of the Zimbabwe Olympic Committee as well as a Commissioner of the International Olympic Committee. He holds a Bachelor of Honours Degree in Economic History, as well as a Masters Degree in African Economic History and a Master of Business Administration (“MBA”) degree, all from the University of Zimbabwe.
Mrs. Bridget Mafusire
Mrs. Mafusire is currently an Associate at the Corporate Counsel, a legal advisory firm. A board member of the Industrial and Commercial Rent Board of Zimbabwe, she is also the National Expert on the ITU-EC Joint Project on the Harmonisation of ICT Policies in Sub-Saharan Africa. Mrs. Mafusire holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) Honours degree from the University of Fort Hare, South Africa, a Post-graduate Diploma in International Trade Policy and Trade Law – TRAPCA (Tanzania), and a Certificate in Trade Negotiation awarded by TradeMark, Southern Africa.
Mrs. Constance Zhanje
Mrs. Zhanje is the Acting Director of Research and Consumer Affairs in the Ministry of Industry and Commerce. She holds Master of Business Administration (MBA) and Higher National Diploma in Business Studies.
Mr. Happias Kuzvinzwa
Mr. Kuzvinzwa has 31 years of service in revenue collection and is currently the Commissioner of Customs and Exercise at the Zimbabwe Revenue Authority (ZIMRA). Mr. Kuzvinzwa holds a Masters degree in International Revenue Administration, Masters Degree in International Customs Law and Administration, an MBA degree in Fiscal Management and a Diploma in Business Studies.
Mrs. Olifina Mutizhe
Mrs. Mutizhe was the Chief Accounting Officer/Executive Director for Renaissance Securities (Private) Limited from 2004-2012. Prior to that she was the Finance Manager for Barnfords Securities (Private) Limited and Consultant for Internal Audit and Corporate Governance at Deloitte and Touché. Mrs. Mutizhe holds a Bachelor of Science Honours degree in Finance, is a CIMA qualified accountant and member.
Ms. Rambanapasi is a holder of a Bachelor of Accountancy Degree from the University of Zimbabwe and a Master of Business Administration Degree from the Zimbabwe Open University. She was appointed to the Board in November 2016.
She has over twenty years’ experience in senior management roles. She has a wealth of experience in financial management, strategy planning, company secretarial and board administration, policy formulation and implementation as well as internal controls management. Her competencies also include tax administration, financial budgeting and cash flow management. She is currently employed by William Smith and Gourock as a Finance Executive. Ms. Rambanapasi was appointed to the ZimTrade board in November 2016.
Mr. Juru is the founder and CEO of Integrated Properties. He also holds the following positions:
- President of the Real Estate Institute of Zimbabwe
- Vice President of the Zimbabwe National Chamber of Commerce (ZNCC) Mashonaland Chapter
- Council member of the Marondera University of Agricultural Sciences
- Chairman of the Midlands Christian College Parents Assembly
- Trustee of the Leonard Cheshire Disability Trust Zimbabwe
- Green Buildings Council of Zimbabwe, where he also chairs the Technical Committee.
He has over 20 years’ experience in the corporate world where he worked for CBZ and Costain Africa before he went into private practice in 2010. He is a multi-award winner in his personal capacity where he has been honoured by the Zimbabwe National Chamber of Commerce as Entrepreneur of the year (2011) and Institute of Directors as Director of the Year (2012), Standard Association of Zimbabwe as Quality Champion of the year (2015). Under his leadership, his organisation has been recognized for excellence by various institutions including the following: SADC (2014), Standards Association of Zimbabwe SAZ (2013), Buy Zimbabwe (2013), Zimbabwe Institute of Management (2014), Mega fest (2015). He is a holder of a BSc Hons Degree from University of Zimbabwe, a member of the Institute of Directors Zimbabwe and Real Estate Institute of Zimbabwe as well as a registered and practicing property valuer. Mr. Juru was appointed to the ZimTrade board in November 2016, where he also chairs the Export Development Committee.
